What is B2B massage?
B2B is shorthand for body-to-body massage — a full-body, oil-based massage delivered through broad, gliding contact rather than the hands alone. In Malaysia the phrase has come to signify a premium, relaxation-led experience, offered either at a private location or brought to your hotel.
The meaning behind the letters
There is nothing cryptic about it: body-2-body. The term entered common Malaysian usage around 2015 and now appears everywhere the fully written "body-to-body massage" does. The two are interchangeable — one is merely the abbreviation of the other.
Body-to-body and B2B describe precisely the same thing. The abbreviation is convenience, not distinction.
How it differs from an ordinary massage
A traditional Thai or aromatherapy massage works through pressure points, stretching and targeted hand technique. The body-to-body style is defined instead by continuous, full-contact glide — long strokes across the larger muscle groups, carried by warm oil. Both aim at relaxation; the character of the experience is what sets them apart.
Incall and outcall
- Incall — the guest travels to a private location.
- Outcall — the therapist attends the guest's hotel or residence.
Travellers often prefer outcall for its convenience; incall tends to be quoted a little lower, as no travel is built into the price.
