Privacy policy
Discretion is the premise of this site, and that extends to data. Here is exactly what is — and is not — collected when you read VelvetB2B, written for Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
On this website: nothing identifying
VelvetB2B is a static publication. No accounts, no forms, no comments, no newsletter, no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels of ours. Reading it leaves no more trace with us than reading a magazine.
Infrastructure logs
The servers and content-delivery network that host the site (including Cloudflare) keep routine technical logs — IP address, browser, pages requested, timestamps — for security and performance. That is standard plumbing for any website; we do not use it to profile readers.
When you write on Telegram
The conversation exists inside Telegram, under Telegram's privacy policy. We see what your settings show — typically a username — and the details you volunteer: city, timing, preferences. Those details are used for one purpose only: answering you and arranging what you asked for (the PDPA basis of contractual necessity). They are not sold, shared or added to any marketing list.
Your PDPA rights
You may ask what personal data we hold, have it corrected, or have it erased. In practice we hold almost nothing beyond the chat you started — deleting the conversation removes most of it — but any request sent via the contact page will be honoured.
Revisions
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it.
